Welcome to Episode 17 of the Credible Sources Podcast produced by the National University Library. In our previous episode, we heard from two NU staff members, about the course development process, one from the library staff, Hannah White, an OER and Curriculum Support Librarian, and Katie Ryan, LXD. We introduced one of our OER and Curriculum Support team librarians, specializing in finding and selecting scholarly, high-quality materials for course authors, and Zero-Cost textbooks for students.
In this episode, we dig a bit deeper into the development process, including a unique story of how the Learning Experience Designer assigned to the course had her professional and personal life merge positively, culminating in a collaboration with the 3D Innovations Lab at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.
