In this video tutorial we are going to create an account with Lone Star College And fill out an application.

To get started go to the website goapplytexas.org To create an account click on get started,

then click on create account.

You will need to create a username put in your email.

and create a password.

Once you have created an account a window like this will pop-up that says that they have sent an email to your email account, and you have to verify your account.

This is what the email will look like, and there will be a link that you can click to verify.

Once you clicked on that link and verified your account this window will pop up that says your registration has been confirmed.

Now you're going to sign into your account to create an application with Lone Star College.

Once you are logged into your account the first thing you need to do is click on "Start/Edit Profile".

On this page you're going to need to fill out the questions that have this red asterisk or this red star right next to it.

Once you have answered those questions you can click on the next button.

And do the rest with all nine pages until you get to the end.

Once you have finished filling out all the questions you can click on done, and that'll bring you back to this page.

And you will click on start "Start/Edit Application".

Once you are on this page, you're going to click on "Start a New Application".

There are instructions for how to fill this out, but we are going to go through it step-by-step.

I'm going to click on "Two-year community college".

We're going to look for Lone Star College,

and fill out these questions.

And for your first choice school this is what you're going to major in if you know what you want to do once you graduate college.

You can put anything, but don't put non degree-seeking because then you won't have help with financial aid, and we can change this as time goes on.

So this here is the application that we're going to fill out and answer questions for.

You have two sections of questions that we're going to fill out.

First one is "Two Year questions" and the second ones are "Questions specific to Lone Star College", and you can click on "Two Year questions" You need to go through this page and fill out all the questions that have the red asterisk a little red star next them and click next until you get to the end.

Once you have filled out both of these questionnaires, the "Two Year questions" and the "Questions specific to Lone Star College" you're going to click on this part here that says "Submit this application", and you will go through and certify

all of these, and you can take your time reading them, and hit "Submit".

Once you see the confetti you have successfully applied for Lone Star College.
