- We’ve improved your audio options in the video editor so you can easily see all of your audio layers in your global editing tools. We’ve clearly labeled “Background music” and added sound effects and music layers so you can turn layers on and off as well as edit and adjust options.
What’s changed:
- In the Storyboard editor, instead of starting from a document, you will now see the option to “Start from a PDF.” Due to changes in Google’s API permission requirements, we removed the direct Google Slides import and folder picker when publishing to Google Drive. You can still export your Google Slides as a PDF and use Start from PDF to build a presentation video.
- When you publish your videos to Google Drive, they will now show up in a ScreenPal folder within Google Drive.
- Password protection for your hosted content is now available in all paid plans. If you are uploading videos to ScreenPal to share for free, you can share publicly or unlisted, and upgrade to add password protection to your content. Any existing videos that are password-protected will maintain that visibility setting.
- If you are using ScreenPal for free without an account, you can now record for up to 5 minutes at a time. Once you create and log in to your free account, you can continue to record for up to 15 minutes at a time for free.
What’s fixed:
- We’ve added warnings to notify users when their device is running low on disk space.
- Lots of small bug fixes!
