Updates to our video hosting platform to make things run smoothly!

What’s new:

• You can now launch the iPhone/iPad App from the website!
• You can now launch the Android App from the website!
• Changed the default colors for better contrast.

What’s improved:

• We will provide an email to an additional contact when a team plan is renewing.
• Added sticky headers for our tables, to make sorting and managing content easier.
• Showing the password field on a watch page for the owner of the content (so you can see what your audience sees)!

What’s fixed:

• A bug that affected some users trying to update their channel details.
• We increased visibility to the password field for users trying to password-protect their channels.
• Fix handling of large captions files and long videos
• A fix for the “Copy Link” URL on Video/Image Detail Screens.
• Squashed a bug that affected sorting videos and images on visibility.
• A bug that allowed some users to navigate away from a page without saving their changes.
• Constrain proportions of profile picture
• Some small improvements to make things look better!

We’ve rolled out some updates to our video and image hosting platform.

What’s new:

• New customizable help pages for Team Members and admins
• A dashboard for new users, to help get started with content creation!
• A new “Last Viewed” column for videos and images so you can easily sort and understand when your videos have last been seen.

What’s improved:

• New look and feel for our hosting platform.
• New icons and updates to the look of our launch software buttons.
• Small tweaks to our video view pages for keyboard navigation.

What’s fixed:

• A bug that caused unexpected results for some users who were filtering their videos and images on visibility.
• A bug that sometimes caused the password field to be hidden for password-protected videos.
• Some spacing tweaks on the plan modification page.
• A bug that hid closed captions on some videos.

We’ve rolled out some updates to our video and image hosting platform.

What’s new:

• You can now launch the screenshot tool, screen recorder, and video editor from our marketing website when you are logged in.
• You can now add bandwidth to your Team Plan Quotes.

What’s improved:

• Collapsible sidebar, so you have more screen space.
• Scrollable sidebar, making it easier to manage content (and navigate on mobile)!
• Improvements to Video Hosting Settings.
• Improved user experience for Team users who are using SAML.
• Removed Google ads from the channel and video view pages.
• Sharing ScreenPal video links in Facebook Messenger now pulls in your video thumbnail image.
• Smoother transitions from content pages to Settings.
• We’ve added the question, “How do you use video?” when you sign up for a new account. This will help us provide you with tips, tricks and content that is relevant. 
• Responsive embeds now handle better when they are inserted in pages that don’t have an HTML width defined.
• Improved messaging when you try to access a video or image that the content owner has deleted or unpublished.
• More communication to content owners who are viewing a video or image that is unpublished.

What’s fixed:

• We’ve fixed some bugs related to our video editor trial. Users can now try, purchase, and launch without any hiccups in that process.
• A bug that affected some users upgrading through a referral link.
• Uploading a profile image that doesn’t meet the exact dimensions will still look great!
• A bug that sometimes hid the password field when some users tried to password protect a video, image, or channel.
• A bug that made it difficult to edit some of the notes associated with a video.

We’ve made some fresh new updates to content hosting!  Not ready for your audience to see your image or video? You can now schedule a publish date! You can also schedule an expiration date for your content. Also, it’s now easier to manage your hosted videos on mobile.

What’s new:

• Schedule a publish date for your videos and images.
• Set an expiration date for your videos and images. You can also choose to move your content to the trash when it expires to permanently delete.
• Add your preferred timezone.  We’ll default to your browser timezone. If you would like to change it, head to your settings.
• You can now upload a profile picture. This is super helpful for team members who are tired of translating the initial bubbles.

What’s improved:

• A better mobile experience for users managing their hosted content on the go.
• The content sidebar behaves better! We’ve improved the way that the sidebar scrolls and sections expand/collapse.
• We’ve improved some of our error messaging and added indicators for uploading content (like custom thumbnails).

What’s fixed:

• Pasting your ScreenPal links into Facebook Messenger will give you a preview image of the content.
• Trial users can now launch the video editor trial from our hosting interface. We’ve included better visibility into status in the trial, too.
