- You’ve asked, we’ve listened! Admins and owners can now override their content’s visibility settings, regardless of their team’s visibility settings. Additionally, they can grant specific groups the ability to override these settings as well.

- A bug that prevented users from logging in if they had a new account with an email associated with a previously deleted account.

- Added a banner on video watch pages for videos that are at risk of being purged soon due to inactivity.

- A bug that occasionally caused opacity to flicker when hovering your mouse over it.

- Exciting news for users on Free, Solo Deluxe, and Solo Premier plans! You can now create a limited number of quizzes with your current plan. If you want unlimited quizzes, simply upgrade to the Solo Max plan. Try out quizzing today!
- Team admins can download an app installer from the Team Feature Access page, tailored to their specific configurations. This file can be used to test or install the app across all team devices.

- ScreenPal will now send a final notice before deleting accounts that have been inactive for an extended period. This gives users a last chance to contact support if they wish to keep their accounts.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of new AI-powered features in ScreenPal for our Solo Max and Team Business customers.
These features are designed to simplify your workflow and save you time, allowing you to focus on the work that matters most. With our latest update, you can now automatically generate editable video titles, descriptions, chapters, and transcriptions for any video you upload to ScreenPal.com. Additionally, your AI-generated video transcription can be used as closed captions, making your content more accessible and giving your viewers multiple ways to engage with your videos.

- AI-powered titles, and summaries based on the narration in your video.
- AI-generated captions, making it even easier to make your videos accessible!
- AI-crafted linkable chapters based on the content in your videos.
- A simplified video details page. We’ve turned your captions and chapters into a timeline on your video settings tab.
- The custom thumbnail and player customization menus can be accessed by the buttons that float over the video.
- We’ve added one menu for all of the great sharing options.

Exciting News A simplified app experience to make your workflow easier
We’ve been gathering feedback, and we’re excited to launch the streamlined recording and editing experience. For instance, we’ve removed the video preview step so you can go directly from recording to editing, saving, and sharing your videos. It is also easier for you to connect your desktop app to your ScreenPal account.
What’s new:
- We made updates to the recorder menu. After your recording, you can immediately choose to save the video or upload the video to share. You can also jump right into video editing.
- We have made it easier to cancel a recording and close ScreenPal. (Less clicking if you change your mind.)
- The video preview has been removed so you can move between recording and editing seamlessly.
- Sharing and saving options have been added right in the video editor and Stories tool.
- If you are logged in to your ScreenPal account, you will see a link in the project manager that brings you to your hosted content. You will also see your user bubble for fast access to your account information
- We moved the folder location option and simplified it to a folder icon.
