What's new with ScreenPal?

What’s new:

• If you are a member of a Team Plan, you can now transfer ownership of a quiz to another team member. Simply open the quiz in ScreenPal Hosting, click the Users icon in the top right, and then select the action you’d like to take: Share Quiz, Duplicate Quiz, or Transfer Quiz Ownership.

What’s fixed:

• We fixed an issue where some users upgraded to a Solo Max plan and the ScreenPal AI tools were disabled.

What’s new:

• Owners and Administrators of a ScreenPal Team Plan can now configure the default settings for ScreenPal content embedded in their organization’s learning management system (LMS). Admins can go to Settings > Permissions and use the LMS Settings area to configure default player behaviors and deny or allow team members to override these settings.
• ScreenPal quizzes that require quiz-takers to enter information prior to taking the quiz are now displayed with a video thumbnail overlay. This thumbnail overlay helps to distinguish them from other quizzes. Users can click the play button on the quiz and will then be prompted to enter the information specified by the quiz creator.

What’s new:

• We added an option to the ScreenPal AI Slides to Video Generator that enables you to use the speaker notes within a PowerPoint presentation to improve the AI- generated script. After you upload a PPTX document to the AI Slides to Video Generator, you will see a checkbox labeled Use speaker notes to improve AI-generated script.

What’s new:

• In this release, we added the AI Slides to Video feature for eligible Solo Max and Team Plan users. The ScreenPal AI Slides to Video feature enables you to upload slide presentations in PDF and PPTX format and transform them into editable, shareable ScreenPal videos. 

What’s new:

• In this release, we added a setting for teams that prevents ScreenPal AI from changing video titles when your team members generate an AI summary, captions, and chapters. This setting is available from Settings > AI Tools > AI Settings. Team Admins can configure this setting for all users of a team and decide whether to allow individual users to override it for their own content.
• You can now launch the Online Screen Recorder from the Create menu within your ScreenPal account. Simply click Create > Record Video > Online Recorder. ScreenPal opens a new page that enables you to choose what you’d like to record, and then opens the Online Recorder.
• There is a new Type toggle control on the Share Video tab in the Video Embed section. Use this toggle to select the type of embed you would like to use, Code o oEmbed.

What’s new:

• In this release, we added the ability to record a new video from the Online Video Editor.  Just click the Video tab, click Media, and then click the Record button. A new window is displayed, asking you to choose what you would like to record. Once you select Screen, Camera, or Screen & Camera, the Online Screen Recorder opens.
• When log into your ScreenPal Hosting account, go to your Dashboard, and click the Record Video button, you will now see two options: One for the Online Recorder, and one for the Desktop Recorder.

What’s new:

• In this release, we added logic so that Themify themes for websites will now support ScreenPal oEmbed links. If you need assistance using ScreenPal oEmbed with Themify, please contact ScreenPal Support.

What’s new:

• You can now search for content within your ScreenPal Hosting account by encoded ID. This includes videos, images, and quizzes. The encoded ID is a combination of letters and numbers that can be found at the end of the video, image, or quiz’s watch or embed URL.
• Previously, ScreenPal oEmbed URLs were not supported in WordPress.  In this release, we added logic to support this type of embed.
