Feature focus: Storyboards
Storyboards are a great planning tool for any video. Starting with a storyboard can help you structure your story, get feedback from collaborators, and make sure you have the content you need, or a plan for what to record, before you jump into creating your video.
Did you know that you have video storyboards built right into your ScreenPal desktop app? You can start your video with a storyboard, plan out your sections with notes, a script, or both, pull in content from anywhere, and easily rearrange sections of your storyboard to build out your video visually.
Storyboards are integrated with the video editor, so you can edit any section of your storyboard, add transitions between sections, and add music to your story like you would any video. You can turn your storyboard script into captions with a click. Watch this video tutorial to see how storyboards work in ScreenPal.
Anyone can create and edit a storyboard for free with ScreenPal Stories. You can download your final video or publish it anywhere with any ScreenPal subscription.

New ways to launch your creative tools
We’re always looking to make it easier for you to access the ScreenPal tools you need wherever you are. We have two new updates to make your creation workflow easier!
1. New “Create” button
Anywhere you are on the ScreenPal website, you can now click the “Create” button to launch the right tool for the type of content you want to create. Record a video, take a screenshot, start a storyboard, edit videos and images, upload content to your hosting account, and create a video quiz!
2. New Chrome extension
Install the newly updated ScreenPal Chrome extension and launch your desktop creation tools from any web page. Click to record with the desktop recorder, or use the easy browser recorder for quick screencasts and video messages. Get the free Chrome extension.
Coming soon: Gradebook sync for quizzes
Stay tuned for the newest update to ScreenPal video quizzing: gradebook sync! Soon you’ll be able to sync your ScreenPal quizzes to your LMS gradebook automatically to save time and ensure a more seamless experience for educators and learners alike.
